Hi there,

I'm a bit confused by how xrandr seems to accomplish the same things
in two different ways.

For example:

xrandr --output LVDS1 --mode 1366x768 VERSUS to xrandr -s 1366x768

xrandr --output HDMI1 --rotate left VERSUS xrandr -o left

Of course I prefer `xrandr -s` or `xrandr -o` as it's easier, but the
--output style commands seem a little more reliable on the Xorg I'm
using http://download.webconverger.com/webc-12.3.txt

Can someone care to educate me? Many thanks,
