do you have your keymap set in the xorg.conf.d ? If not, it would seem

Hi,

When X is running and I plug out/plug in my usb keyboard, I see that
Xmodmap/xset etc settings get lost and I have it to run xmodmap/xset again
for them to apply to the keyboard. Is this a bug or the behavior the way it
should be ?

Regards,

I don't have any custom keymap, just a bunch of xmodmap and xset rules. Do I need to add/Is it possible to add these xorg.conf.d ?
