This bug seems to be fixed now. The default font size is still 11pt but no more "uneven kerning".

    We want to reproduce this issue here at XMLmind Software. So one more
    question please. Which version of Java do you use on your Windows 10
    PC?
    Java 8? Java 11? Java 15? Thank you for your help.
