I am using the *paid edition* of XMLmind as purchased by my organization. The license number is NNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

However, while importing the DOCX file, the random "[XMLmind]" text is still appearing in the converted DITA file.

Also, while importing the document we are getting this warning too:

Can you please help on this.

The behavior you describe is normal. I'm really sorry but you simply purchased the wrong product.

Your license number NNNNNNNNNNNNNN corresponds to XMLmind DITA Editor Professional Edition (https://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/dita_editor.html) and this low-priced, special edition does not include a fully functional "Word To XML" plug-in.

Depending on the version you use, XMLmind DITA Editor may indeed include a "Word To XML" plug-in which works in "Evaluation mode". But as of XMLmind DITA Editor v9.1, the "Word To XML" plug-in is not bundled anymore with the product to prevent these misunderstandings to happen.

Only XMLmind *XML* Editor Professional Edition (https://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/) includes fully functional "Word To XML" plug-in (https://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/addons_doc.html#word_to_xml).

This is made quite clear here: "Which editor to choose?", https://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/which_editor.html
See "Import DOCX" row.

In order to be able to use a fully functional "Word To XML" plug-in:

1) You EITHER must purchase XMLmind *XML* Editor Professional Edition. In this case, the "File|Import DOCX" menu item will display a fully functional "Word To XML" dialog box.

OR

2) You must purchase XMLmind Word To XML Desktop Edition, a separate product (https://www.xmlmind.com/w2x/). In this case, the "File|Import DOCX" menu item of your XMLmind DITA Editor will still be non-functional and you'll have to use the XMLmind Word To XML standalone, desktop application separately.
