Taking inspiration from NetBeans, I propose that XMLmind XML Editor’s file browser gets a bookmark feature. The bookmark feature would allow to create bookmarks for folders/directories. This way it would simpler to switch between different projects.

An extra reason to implement such a feature is the poor Finder integration MacOS: A user might create project folders in the operative system’s file browser. However, in MacOS, these folder are of little help when using XMLmind XML editor due to the fact that it is impossible to open files in XXE by way of double-clicking files in the Finder.

And even if double clicking in Finder worked, it would require at least one extra step to make XXE’s file browser to switch to the same folder: One would have to use the Command-Shift-O shohrtcut of the Folder submenu of the File menu.
