I am ”upgrading” a EPUB 2 book to EPUB 3 by way of XMLmind
XMLeditor’s new, super Ebook production ability. However, the book I
am working with has its own enumeration of its parts, chapters and
sections. The original enumeration is typed inside the h1-h6 elements.
But when XMLmind XMLeditor (at least when testing the page as
one-page-XHTML) generates its own enumeration. The result is two sets of
enumeration.
Is there a way to disable the automatic enumeration?
And, by the way, I would also like to disable the automatic insertions
of filler texts such as "Chapter", "Part", "Section" since this too is
taken care of by the original document.
If there is no such possibility, I would kindly like to ask for it.
