I want to ask you about the "Word To XML" add-on for XMLmind XML Editor.
In the "Add" dialog of the "MS-Word style to XML element map" dialog in the
add-on,
Japanese MS-Word Style Names are incorrectly displayed like the attached
image (add-dialog.png). MS Word has default styles like Heading1, Heading2. But
they
are also displayed incorrectly and they are not be identified which is which.

In principle, the "Add" dialog of "MS-Word style to XML element map" only displays *custom* styles (that is, not "Heading1", "Heading2", etc). See http://www.xmlmind.com/w2x/_distrib/doc/w2x_app_help/style_mapping_editor.html

Does the "Word To XML" add-on support Japanese Words files?
Does it have the possibility to support Japanese files in the future?

It's not possible to answer your questions without first examining Japanese DOCX files.

We don't have any of such files. XMLmind Word To XML has been tested only against English, French, Spanish and German DOCX files.

Please be kind enough to send us (privately, mailto:huss...@xmlmind.com) a number of such Japanese DOCX files.

Actual documents having custom styles would be more useful than short test documents.
