I have edited some DITA file and some part has Chinese simplified fonts

If this is the case, simply save your DITA bookmap to disk before trying to convert it to PDF.

If this is the case, please refer to this FAQ:

When I convert documents written in Russian (or Polish or Czech or any non-western language) to PDF, almost all characters are replaced by the "#" character. Is there a workaround for this problem?

Simply make sure that the TrueType font families you'll select have glyphs for all the Chinese characters.

My Adobe XI reader can take Chinese fonts, e.g. I can print Word docx in
Chinese to PDF.
Any thoughts or help?
Thanks!
