Sorry but the answer is no.
Note that as of version 7, it's possible to edit a document using the
styled view and the source view SIDE BY SIDE. This may alleviate the
need to switch to/from the XML source view.

FYI, you can also access the XML source view only with the keyboard on
Windows: /alt /to control the menu, then /V/ for View then /3/ for XML
source. But its less handy and I tend to put "3" in random places of the
documents once the switch operated.

Of course, on Windows and on Linux, but not on the Mac, it's always
possible to switch to the XML source view by pressing "Alt + V + 3" ("V"
like the "V"iew menu, "3" because "3" is the underlined mnemonic of
menu item "3 XML source").
