I just installed XMLmind DocBook-Editor. Great tool, thank you.
My question: is it possible to have the DocBook identifiers such as
book, chapter, article etc. displayed in different languages e.g. german
inside the editor?
This is technically possible of course, but we never bothered
translating the generated content found in the DocBook CSS to a language
other than English. Sorry for that.
If you are curious, the DocBook v4 CSS stylesheets are found here:
<XXE_install_dir>/addon/config/docbook/css/
The DocBook v5 CSS stylesheets, which import DocBook v4 CSS stylesheets,
are found here:
<XXE_install_dir>/addon/config/docbook5/css/
The best way to have the generated content found in CSS stylesheets
translated to several languages is to proceed as explained here:
XMLmind XML Editor - Support of Cascading Style Sheets (W3C CSS)
