Thank you for sending us all this info. The crash seems to be specific
to your working environment.
For a unknown reason (because the info you sent us looks just fine[*]),
switching to XML source view attempts to load
com/xmlmind/xmleditapp/kit/SourceEditor, a Java class which once existed
in XMLmind XML Editor v6 and no longer exists in v7.
Please proceed as follows to fix this issue:
1) Uninstall *all*, really *all*, versions of XMLmind XML Editor you
have installed on your computer, including of course latest v7.
2) Use Windows file manager to delete folder:
C:\Users\John_Doe\AppData\Roaming\XMLmind
3) Reinstall latest v7 using your setup.exe.
4) Attempt to reproduce the crash.
In all cases, please be kind enough to inform us about what happened.

*after* installing XMLmind XML Editor Professional Edition 7.0.0.
That is, simply renaming:
C:\Users\John_Doe\AppData\Roaming\XMLmind\XMLEditor6
to:
C:\Users\John_Doe\AppData\Roaming\XMLmind\XMLEditor7
cannot work.
