I understand XMLMind does support Mathml 2.0 and thus expressions as being shown in http://rypress.com/tutorials/mathml/advanced-formatting#custom-linebreaks. Xmlmind does accept <mspace linebreak='newline' ... /> but that does not result in a linebreak at all. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/MathML/Element/mspace#Browser_compatibility states lacking browser support for the linebreak attribute. Having Docbook generating PNG images anyway: Is there a workaround?
