What you did would be sufficient if you were generating DOCX, RTF, ODT,
etc, but is not sufficient when generating PDF. By default, PDF just
knows about its 14 standard fonts (Helvetica, Times, Courier, etc) and
Arial is not one of these PDF fonts.
