I updated to the latest version of XMLmind to test the almost new feature "Import word

This is almost correct. However, at the end, you cannot use Ctrl+V (the standard keyboard shortcut for "Edit|Paste") to paste from Word. You must explicitly use menu item "XHTML|Paste As|Paste from Word".

The exact procedure is documented here:

"How to import an entire MS-Word document as XHTML"

http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/xhtml/menu.html

is *erroneous*. It indeed indicates that you can use Ctrl+V, which is simply not true. Sorry for that bug!
