Yes but unlike what happens for "Paste from Word", the formatting of cells is lost.
After selecting and copying a rectangular range of cells in Excel, please use "Paste As|Table" in XMLmind XML Editor.
The "Paste As" submenu is found in the XHTML, DITA Topic and DocBook menus.
