With apologies for following up my own post, let me ask some more specific questions.
What WebDAV servers is XMLEditor's Dav plugin known to work with? What do you at XMLMind test it with? Have people had good luck with Apache mod_dav_svn and/or mod_dav_fs ? Has anyone tried using it with Jackrabbit? If we were to simply use a shared directory mounted on multiple people's computers, what techniques if any would XMLEditor use to lock the file while it is being edited?
