I am getting an erro rcompiling libxml2-2.9.9 with MinGW (gcc 6.3.0, w32api 5.2.1): CC xinclude.lo CC nanohttp.lo ../libxml2-2.9.9/nanohttp.c:96:0: warning: "INVALID_SOCKET" redefined #define INVALID_SOCKET (-1)

In https://mail.gnome.org/archives/xml/2003-August/msg00042.html, https://mail.gnome.org/archives/xml/2003-August/msg00043.html and https://mail.gnome.org/archives/xml/2003-August/msg00044.html the original poster presents a solution for libxml2-2.5.9 and libxslt-1.0.32. The thread ends with Daniel Veillard requesting that the original poster send a patch, which apparently he never did. The last timw I compiled libxml2 it was at version 2.9.2 and I succeeded.
