So far as I know the driver
may not have relationship with the kernel version. (I recently got a bug that
will happen on different kernel version, but I think you may take it a special case.) If the XFree86 can successfully
build under the kernel (I have ever build XFree86_4.3 on kernel 2.6.X and I cannot
smoothly compile it until I modify some source codes of XFree86_4.3), I think it
