That error message suggests that the driver doesn't support
dual head operation.

   Looking through the Intel driver changelog, dual-head support
wasn't added to that driver until mid 2004.  The XFree86 version
you are using dates back to mid 2003.  You should upgrade your
X-server to something at least a couple years newer.
