Using my editor, an ancient version of micro-emacs, mg, in an Xterm,
when I stop with ^Z and then resume with fg, a print job consisting
of one blank sheet of paper is sent to my printer. The
XTerm.TermName: resource is xterm-xfree86, and I've copied the entries
from the 4.5.0 /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/etc/xterm.termcap to /etc/termcap
replacing the relevant portions with the new entries.

When it resumes, the editor sends te and ti and possibly other
interesting control characters that I can research if necessary. My
questions at this point are:

Has anyone else observed this behavior?

Is there a fix, other than disabling Xterm printing altogether
by setting resource
   xterm*printerCommand:
to <blank>?

I don't seem to get the problem suspending/resuming less or vi, and
of course, I didn't have the problem with X-3.3.6.

TIA,

Jim
