Hi folks, got some worries with starting the X-Server and hope one of you would like to help.
Attached you find XF86Config and Xfree86.0.log. I tried to run the Font Server as well as giving explicite fonts path however both ends up with: Fatal Server Error: Cannot find default font "fixed" Admitted, this (Siemens-Nixdorf MCM 1701) is not the latest monitor but it's the only one I got for the moment and I believed it should be able to work in standard VGA mode at least. BTW, redhat-config-xfree86 ends with a black screen. Any help appreciated! Thanks Matthias -- COMPUTERBILD 15/03: Premium-e-mail-Dienste im Test -------------------------------------------------- 1.
