I'm running XFree 4.3.0 in FreeBSD 4.8. Yesterday i installed a few stuff, nothing fancy or directly related to X (except mozilla firebird). This morning i booted and now i can't access accented chars using alt grap key. arobade becomes some odd "8", cardinal becomes c with a cedie. i have to cutn paste the arobade char to send an email. i replaced my XF86Config file with an older one in case i uncommented one line too much but same result. What could i possibily have done wrong ? how do i fix this ? the problem occurs in both KDE and fluxbox, not in console.
