Hi there,

i noticed this in the DRI cvs in november, but nobody chased it up, and
now it has appeared in the XFree86-4.3 release.

I have a Radeon VE QY graphics card, and have enabled the DRI/DRM to
work with my linux-2.4.20 kernel.

however, when i load any 3D application, i get a 'grainy effect' over
black/dark regions of drawables, which flickers and is generally quite
annoying. (i have a 40K screenshot anyone is welcome to)

I would very much like somebody to tell me what is going on, when i
posted to the DRI list
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=1406548&forum_id=6511
nobody chased this up.

I also experience crashes when using xmms (but no core dumps). The only
output i can get is

CRASHHH!!
drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22

anyone know how to fix it? im not an X programmer by any means...

Sam
