Perhaps you should consider VNC ( http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ ). The version for Linux creates a separate virtual "desktop" for each copy of the server that is run. This can be connected to with the VNC client (available also for Windows) over a network, allowing you to run Linux/X Window System applications on the Linux system and have them display on the Windows system.
If that's not what you were intending, please clarify your post a bit. As far as I know (I'm new here, so I can't be certain), it's ok to be a little more wordy (i.e. provide more details about your system and software configuration, and about what you want to do) if it means that your post can be better understood. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Sushil Waghavkar Sent: Wednesday, February 26, 2003 3:03 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [XFree86] window client hi i currently insatalled redhat7.x i wantto following to work. i want toconnect from windows client to linux & run X services from windows client pl give me necessary steps reagrds _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
