I have the exact same machine, but when I put a GVX1 in it, the screen just goes blank and nothing happens. The keyboard ligth flashes and there's about a second of disc activity and then the machines dies. Everywhere I turned, all I would hear is that the SRM doesn't support it (SRM v5.8-1, latest for the EB164). Altough I'm running FreeBSD, I suppose NetBSD boots from the SRM console too?
