If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is
newer than the above date, look for a newer version before
reporting problems. (See http://www.XFree86.Org/)

Repeat By:I'm just venturing a guess here. The only error line in the log file is:
Linux redhat installs fine but x server fails lo load (I get the same result with vesa, nv AND nvidia drivers 3123 and 4191) the same happens with Mandrake 9. Linux Conectiva stops during install process. Linux Knoppix is the only system which manages to load Xserver running vesa driver (16 bit). I've tried different memory banks AND different motherboards (same model) SO I think it is not a hardware problem.
Everything runs fine if I diminish the amount of central system ram from the initial 768MB downto 512MB or less.
The last, final, terrifying, experience is that (my wife insisted!!!) I installed winxp on a small partition and all worked ok. Unbelievable, ("I'm right" she said). Please, save me.
(EE) Cannot find a replacement memory range
Could this have something to do with the AGPGART kernel driver? The fact that the problem is influenced by system memory kind of hints at that. Are you using Nvidia's AGP driver, or the one that comes with the kernel? Maybe there's something fishy going on with the Linux GART driver.
I have the same video card, and I've got 1GB of RAM, and it works fine for me. I'm using Nvidia's X driver as well as Nvidia's GART driver.
