The problem here is that this specific video card is not supported with the s3 driver, however when switching from 3.3.6+4.x with prior releases, where this card used 3.3.6, the default was changed to the 4.x native driver, and in 4+ months of beta testing, not one person reported the card not working with the s3 driver. The workaround, is to use the "vesa" driver for unsupported hardware. If anyone has unsupported hardware like this, they should file a bug report in Red Hat bugzilla: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla This allows me to more easily troubleshoot the problem and come up with a fix or a workaround which is adequate, and make that the default for the future. Hope this helps. TTYL -- Mike A. Harris _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
