When I updated it I checked it to start without crashing only, since, not using it, I don't know what exact behaviour to expect. But if something is amiss I'll try to fix it. The tray icon is disabled by default now, following suit with upstream changes [1], upstream made this the default due to incompatibility with wayland. I can add an option so it can enabled, but I'd rather keep the option disabled by default to align with upstream. Regarding the errors, the X-LIC-ERROR thing depends in libical, the library used to parse calendar files. AFAIK it is produced when there are empty properties in the calendar file (it is unclear if this is allowed by specifications or not) [2]. I think you should file a bug report against that port, and maybe check your calendar files for empty properties and see if you can avoid having those. Can you share a calendar file causing the issue?
