Janusz,

The Fontspec manual says indexing starts at 0. So should it be cv16=3, which
would be equivalent to cv16=4 elsewhere?

Not sure. I don't have XeTeX on the machine I'm using right now. I'm going to
break out another machine and test there.

Subject: [XeTeX] using character variants as RawFeature

Hi!

I try to test the character variants introduced a few days ago to
JuniusX as the result of the following issue:

https://github.com/psb1558/Junicode-New/issues/3

Here is my last test:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\begin{document}
\fontspec[Path=../fonts/,RawFeature={cv16=4}]{JuniusX-Regular.ttf}
      ø
\end{document}
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

I get the default variant of the letter and the log contains

"Unknown feature `cv16=4' in font."

What is wrong?

Best regards

Janusz
