Thanks Mojca.  I've made a lot of changes over the past two weeks, but
am not quite ready for a beta release yet.  But it's of course great
that people are willing to test it.  The (temporary) installation
instructions are as follows:

  Copy the files under polyglossia/tex to a location where LuaTeX can
find them as TeX files; and the one file in polyglossia/lua to a
location where LuaTeX can find it as a Lua file.  For all files, you can
use the directory where you're compiling, or tex/latex/polyglossia under
a local texmf tree.  As far as TeX files are concerned, you may want to
only copy polyglossia.tex and the file(s) for the language(s) you're
testing, instead of installing the 70+ languages.
