    Its me with my problems again. Sorry

    I have a problem in typesetting an English Book, the default language

    is English and I have

    \setotherlanguage{arabic}

    Because of this above command, my page headings become RTL even
    thought Arabic is not the Default Language.

    for Example I have "Chapter 2. Dealing with people" but on the top of

    the page it shows up as

      PEOPLE WITH DEALING 2. CHAPTER

    commenting out the above command puts the chapter back to LTR. But
    then I can't type Arabic.

This was a problem with old versions of bidi and it is fixed now. From the properties of your PDF document, I can see that you are using version 1.0.3 of bidi package which is 10 versions old. The current version of bidi is 1.1.4.

Vafa, please when you reply to a question on this list don't start a new thread. I have answered in the original thread without being aware of your reply elsewhere.

Thanks,

François
