You're welcome --- but if you can use another font, that would be

You were able to get this solution because you knew that "\char"00B4
is the acute accent as Unicode has it". Where can I find this
information for other accents?
On Mac OS X, I use the "character pallette" window and hover the mouse
over the glyph to see the Unicode info. What Ulrike and others have
suggested (google search, etc) is a much easier and more reliable way to
find those points (this computer has email but isn't opened for internet
browsing, so I can't just google something at will --- it's a monkish
thing).
