Hi,

XeLaTeX uses an intermediate file format (XDV if I remember correctly) which is
later translated to PDF. For this reason not all packages which deal with
PostScript and PDF work perfectly on xelatex. In some cases there are package
options especially for xelatex, but reading the pst-pdf manual it seems that
there are no special considerations for xelatex.

My suggestion would be to simply convert the (E)PS files into PDF using ps2pdf,
followed by pdfcrop if required, and then include the PDF file in your xelatex
source.

Regards,
Wilfred
