Having gone through to here while skipping patch 5 for the moment, I wonder in how far there are dependencies among the above (and, looking forward, also for others further down on earlier ones). I don't think it can reasonably be expected for the entire series to go in all at the same time, so I'd consider it useful to put in whatever is ready and independent of earlier changes perhaps still under discussion.
