On the contrary -- exactly the same arguments apply. There were *no*
hypervisor patches as part of the 4.8 PVH backport; the only patches
between staging-4.8 and the 4.8 Comet tag that touch the hypervisor are
the pvshim-specific patches; so the same arguments apply both to 4.10
and 4.8.
