I don't think the migration aspect was really thought through yet by the submitters of the vNUMA patches that went in so far. But yes, I agree with your later reply of there being little hop to do anything about an eventual change in the guest. In which case it again becomes a pretty moot thing to discuss how that state should be presented to the guest.
