This series of patches enable the toolstack to set and get per-VCPU work-conserving flag. With the toolstack, system administrators can decide which VCPUs will be made work-conserving.
The design of the work-conserving RTDS was discussed in https://www.mail-archive.com/xen-devel@lists.xen.org/msg77150.html We plan to perform two steps in making RTDS scheduler work-conserving: (1) First make all VCPUs work-conserving by default, which was sent as a separate patch. This work aims for Xen 4.10 release. (2) After that, we enable the XL to set and get per-VCPU work-conserving flag, which is this series of patches.
