Hi all, I've seen many bug reports up to now about users which misunderstand that makefile.gcc must be used with MinGW only and not on Unix environments (where configure script must be used instead).
In order to reduce the number of peoples which gets misleaded by this I propose to change wxCode bakefiles in order to make "mingw" output (by default) a makefile called "makefile.mingw" instead of "makefile.gcc". I don't think a file extension of > 3 chars is a problem nowadays :) Do you agree with such change? From your (maintainer) side, you'd only need to regen after updating wxCode repo and then add makefile.mingw removing makefile.gcc.
