Do you have to get the whole respository when you do a checkout? I
tried to use subversion to get files from another project once and it
wanted to download every revision. So sure, the diffs are fast, but
that's only because you've already downloaded far too much to begin
with.
Does this mean if I just want to checkout a single file I have to get
the whole repository?
