Hallo Frisbeedeutschland, wir sind auf der Suche nach einem Trainerteam (zwei bis drei Personen m/w/d, auch gerne gemischt) für das U17 Open Nationalteam, ab sofort. Auch, wenn ihr euch selbst nicht in dieser Rolle seht, überlegt euch bitte kurz, ob ihr jemanden kennt, der Lust haben könnte, und sprecht ihn oder sie an. Vor allem ehemalige Juniorennationalspieler*innen sind gerne gesehen.
Im nächsten Jahr werden die U17 Europameisterschaften in Hollabrunn, Österreich, stattfinden (siehe unten). Ihr solltet Erfahrung als Trainer*in und Spaß am Umgang mit jungen Menschen haben. Internationale Erfahrung ist gewünscht, aber nicht erforderlich. Für deine ersten Schritte als Nationaltrainer*in solltet ihr euch ein anderes Nationaltrainerteam suchen, welches euch als Paten hilft, die ersten Erfahrungen zu sammeln. The event will feature national Ultimate teams in the Mixed, Open and Women's Under-17 divisions. The successful bid came from the Austrian Sport Federation (ÖFSV) and the City of Hollabrunn. The Tournament Organizing Committee features a group with significant experience in hosting national and international Ultimate events and will be headed by Felix Nemec with the support of the Austrian federation and the city of Hollabrunn. The venue will be centered around the Sporthotel Hollabrunn with 3 full size sport fields, a cafeteria as well as a small stadium and one artificial grass field and one additional grass field in the center of Hollabrunn near the main train station - all within walking distance. Though it is currently very difficult to estimate team participation, the EUF hopes that around 30 teams will compete in the youth event - a mixed division will be included for the first time in the U17 tournament. It is important to note that no payments will need to be made until May 1st 2021. The last U17 EYUC took place in Wroclaw, Poland with 25 U17 teams in the Men’s and Women’s divisions.
