Hello beach ultimate lovers,
BUM – Berlin Ultimate Mitte – the beach tournament in the middle of our city will take place from the 8th to 10th of June 2019.
The BUM-tournament is now kind of a generations event. Teams, players and organizers are growing with this tournament but we are also looking for newcomers. Our focus next to the resident teams is on international club teams.
If you feel like playing on sand for 3 days - contact us with some information about your team, especially if you are a women’s, open or mixed team. Team admission is rolling from now on until 7th of February.
We have 36 spots – 12 in the women division and 24 spots in the open division. But traditionally about 12 spots in the open division are reserved for mixed teams. The top 8 of the open seeding start in power pools, the rest in 4 lower pools. The top 8 of the lower pools play into the top 16. So every teams has the chance for the win.
The playing level of BUM is mostly experienced to advanced. We also have an eye on a balanced seeding. So every team will have tough and tight games from the beginning. That’s why we recommend at least 10 players.
Sleeping accommodation is camping on site. Breakfast and daily food&beverages will be provided. Saturday evening usually will be the tournament dinner and on Sunday the tournament party.
