Hi Uwe,

Thanks for responding to my message..

Perhaps i should have explained that its was the TX side that was not working but I had never seen that Transmit Audio Source box greyed out.

I have now solved the TX problem but the box is still greyed out..

I will leave it like it is as it does not seem to make a difference.

Thanks again Uwe..

Karl,

Is the audio source perhaps disabled at Windows level? Have a look at the Windows Sounds settings (right-click on the speaker icon at the bottom right and then "Sounds"). It may be that your FT-991 is now recognized as a "new" audio source, and the old one no longer works.

hi All,

After having to do a factory restart on my FT991, I used the settings which I had saved on the PC using the RT Systems Software.

Every thing seemed to be ok but I could not get the radio to TX using WSJT-X V2.6.1 , Windows 10..

The Radio setting page, in WSJT-X, shows the Transmit Audio Source greyed out with the Front/Mic ticked..

Any ideas how to correct this please...

Thanks
