Hi Kevin, I just tested my 9700 on Q65 and FT8 and my 7300 in hound mode, FT8, Q65, MSK144 and I have no problem like you do. Do you have CV-I Transcrive turned off in the menu? If not turn off and test again.

Thanks Michael for your help on this, but the issue still exists. The biggest clue, I think, is the fact that it was introduced with -rc2. -rc1 ran fine.
