I failed to look for WSJT-x in the desktop 'Add software' program and when
doing so I found that WSJT-x 2.3.0 was available.
I'm not sure if there have been any improvements in 'wsprd' and 'jt9' since
2.3.0,  but I now have a working installation of those programs.
