Setting the mode in WSJT-X rigs settings to Data/Pkt doesn't work?

I have some trouble.My Yaesu FT-991 connected over usb to PC.
Rig configured properly, "Test CAT" worked properly. "Test PTT" put the
transceiver in tx mode with selected on device mode (DATA-USB).
Then if I press the "Tune" or "Enable Tx" button in the main window, the
transceiver changes mode to USB.
Can I change behavior to use device selected mode? Or select preferred mode in
application?
