I think it is a very good idea! :)

Well, I don't think that this feature has been coded. I have thought
about it several months ago, and the best way would have been to
exchange the list of maps, not to rely on from where the map is loaded.

As I said above, I think it's a very good idea! I have already accepted
you in the ppa group, so if you are able to upload/create the package,
it would be wonderful :)
