Hi,

I will create the branch for Wormux 0.8.5 this week-end. This branch
will be used to update language translations.

Jaka will manage the translations updates received on mailing-list
wormux-update (Well, are you ok Jaka ? :) . And I will merge bug-fixes
from the trunk to the branch if there are some.

Of course, all new features developed during the last week will *not*
be merged. In particular, I was working on task
https://gna.org/task/?6679 but it will not be ready at time and I don't
want to delay the release again.

Just to remember, from the beginning of September, here are the
different steps to do:

1) get the howto play and how to play online documentation (in .pdf)
from last version.

it would have been interesting to have these documents (and not only in
english) on the website to. Can anybody lead the revival of these
documents ?

2) create the branch 0.8.5

3) upload a pre-release archive for

    - the packager to test if everything is good
    - the translators
3bis) prepare the changelog

4) wait for nearly all translations to be ok. Some translators can be on
hollydays or not interested in updating anymore the translation -
deadline is September 14th
5) create a release branch/tag
6) create the final source archive and upload it
7) inform all packagers than we are ready to release
8) collect packages
9) update the website and release 0.8.5 :)

WARNING: some bug fixes may appear on the branch but strings are frozen!
Thus, if you see problem in english translation, they will be fixed on
trunk but not on the branch to avoid fuzzy translations, sorry for
english users. Developers are advised to not modify strings (even on the
trunk) between the period of releasing.

Regards,

Matt (gentildemon)
