No need, I have traced the problem: I need to rebuild configure with my 
own setup, and that's where the problem originated.

That was more meant as "the problem might be of the PEBKAC type".

Yes, and the code is probably too posix/unix-oriented to be compilable.

That's because I wanted to make sure first the problem was not on my 
side (and it was), but now that I know the source of the problem, I can 
safely build and release it.
