This have been sorted out with gentildemon offline. For the record, my build setup requires that I rebuild the configure script but I was copying the required files (configure.ac) from trunk, which couldn't have worked. There are some files missing to build the installer (probably EXTRA_DIST in Makefile.am wasn't updated), but nothing I can fix. I've uploaded to the usual win32 download folder a file named "wormux-0.8.3-unofficial.exe" for people to test it. It worked for me, but due to my record of failings to date, I'm trying to be careful... ;) Once the file has been deemed ok, anyone can rename it (removing the -unofficial part).
