Hi!

I am really a fan of Wormux. And previously of the Worms series. Also
I am a student of computer science, so an idea came to me and I
thought of bringing it to you guys.

Is Wormux going to participate on this year's Google Summer of Code? I
think it should. I am probably not going to be able to help you as I
already have other projects in my mind, but others might be able to
help a lot.

This could help you get more developers and more ideas on the table.
Or even if that doesn't happen, you could still register the project
and a few of the current coders and artists so that you all get the
donation / salary from Google. This is great for students (I, for
example, can survive a whole year with the 3-months pay Google is
offering).

I really think this will shorten a lot the list of open bugs and tasks
and even get you new features that have not yet been requested. After
all, who could deny an extra pair of hands on the upcoming milestone
of AI?

Even in the worst case scenario, you guys still get the free publicity
of having Wormux displayed in Google's SoC page in front of thousands
of developers every year. So there is no way of losing, in my opinion.

Well, these are my thoughts. I just thought of bringing them up since
i didn't see anyone talking about it in this mailing list.

Thanks for the really great game!
